The Nundah library is a hub of contemporary learning. The open space design fosters flexible access to encourage collaboration and inquiry-based learning.
Students and the wider school community are welcomed into the library space. The Accelerated Reader (AR) program stimulates independent reading. AR combines online software and levelled resources in our library with classroom and home reading time to significantly increase students’ interest and ability in reading.

The student team of eLearning mentors assist their peers to navigate the library print and digital collection. The Library and eLearning staff is committed to supporting all students to experience success and enjoyment with their reading progress.
The Nundah library supports the school’s vision for student-centred learning and will continue to expand the use of technologies. It upholds the rich reading traditions of Nundah State School and strategically plans to be future focused to cater for our contemporary learners.
We have well and truly outgrown our little library, and have plans to renovate and expand this valuable learning space in the future.
