HEALTH AND PE @ NUNDAH
At Nundah our goal is for our students to be healthy, safe and active citizens. Through the implementation of the Australian Curriculum we teach students critical inquiry skills so that they can research and analyse influences on their own and others health to make informed decisions. HPE is broken up into two strands: Personal, Social and Community Health and Movement and Physical Activity.
Reference: Australian Curriculum
All students in Prep to year 6 participate in regular physical activity sessions with their class teacher and access a HPE specialist weekly. Swimming is a major focus in our HPE program with a swimming program run in Terms 1 and 4.
