Nundah State School is a delightful school, with a culture of care and quality for our students from prep to year 6. Nundah State School, one of the oldest schools in Queensland, was established in 1865 on the site it currently occupies. The school features a magnificent, heritage listed, main building constructed in the 1930s. The school occupies a central place in the local community and has provided quality education over the decades for the suburbs of Nundah, Northgate, Wavell Heights and Kalinga.
We have developed a clear vision for Nundah State School with our community. This has 4 elements, including our motto, our statement of beliefs, our values, and our learner protocols. Our Nundah Nine Gifts are our 21st C learner expectations which frame the Australian Curriculum as Learning Intentions (and success criteria) in our classrooms. Motto: We Wonder at Nundah!
