Welcome to Nundah State School



Nundah State School is turning 150 years old. 


Nundah State School turns 150 years old this year.  We are very excited about this significant year, and to celebrate our school’s birthday we are hosting a range of events.  This includes: 

The Spring Fair on Sunday 18th October between 11.00am and 4.00pm.  The festivities will take place at the school on Bage Street, Nundah and as well as entertainment there will be a wide range of food,  craft and treat stalls.  The Nundah Historical Society will have photos and displays from the school’s 150 year history and there will be the opportunity to meet teachers and children who currently attend the school.  To find out more go to: 

Bush Dance on Friday 16 October from 7.00pm to 11.00pm.  There will be food drink and dancing on the night, a live band with a caller who will teach everyone the dances and keep them on track.  A night not to be missed.  To find out more go to:

Trivia Night - Dress in black and white and head to the School Hall on Bage Street to test your general knowledge against parents and friends.  Enjoy an extravaganza of trivia, exciting games and a monster raffle.  The event kicks off at 7.00pm on Saturday 22 August and as well as games there will be pizza, deserts and alcoholic drinks.  Cost is $10.  To find out more go to:

Fundraising appeal - Former students and members of the local community continually mention the beautiful ‘old Camphor Laurel tree which stood in the quadrangle at the heart of the school.  As part of the 150th celebrations we are hoping to raise funds to build a new outdoor play area at the same site.  To donate to this appeal please see attached details. (Appeal letter - PDF 786KB)
