Nundah State School is made up of
approximately 45 teaching staff and employs an additional 20 non-teaching staff
to support our 720 students and teachers.
These include our leadership
Principal, Ms Deb Cox who has been with us since 2012.
Deputy Principal, Ms Aminta Miller.
Deputy Principal, Mrs Mel Rehm.
Learning Coach, Mr Greg Kitson.
Head of Curriculum - Literacy, Mrs Lisa O'Connor.
Master Teacher, Mrs Kerryn Grice, a highly regarded, well-established Nundah teacher.
Lead teacher and eLearning Coach, Mrs Alex Moran who joined the team in 2014.
Lead teacher for Students With Additional Needs (SWAN) is Ms Alison Daly, specialising in coaching staff in differentiation and personalising learning.
Lead teacher for Students With Additional Needs (SWAN) is Mrs Miranda Sainsbury, specialising in coaching staff in differentiation and personalising learning.
Our classrooms teachers are a mix
of a long-term Nundah teachers plus many staff new to Nundah.
With a full compliment of
specialist teachers, we have a full-time Physical Education teacher in Mr Mick
Gaynor, a full-time Music teacher in Mr Geoff Whitehead, and a part-time
Dance/Drama teacher in Mrs Vicki Hicks.
Complimenting these roles are a
team of specialist staff who provide particular support for students and advise
for teachers. These include our SWAN Support Teacher, Mrs Kim Burton; our
English as an Additional Language Teacher (EAL), Mrs Ellen Asgill, our Guidance
Office (GO), Mrs Jennifer Fenaughty and our Chaplain, Ms Anita Crown. We
also have some Advisory visiting teachers who visit regularly to provide

Our office staff, teacher aides,
cleaners and facility services officer are most capably led and managed by our
Business Services Manager (BSM), Mrs Sharron Keogh, appointed to Nundah in
