Nundah State School has approximately 45 teaching staff and an additional 20 non-teaching staff to supporting the learning of our 730 students.
These include our leadership team:

• Deputy Principal (Prep - Yr 1) - Ms Kate Swete Kelly
• Deputy Principal (Year 2 - 3) - Ms Lynley Williams
• Deputy Principal (Year 4 - 6) - Mrs Kerrin Cridland
• Head of Curriculum - Mrs Marie Robertson
• Head of Curriculum – Mr Gareth Emblen
• Head of SWAN (Supporting Wellbeing & Academic Needs) - Mrs Kerry Taylor.
Our classroom teachers are a mix of a long-term Nundah teachers and some staff new to Nundah.
Classroom programs are enhanced by our Specialist teachers. Our Physical Education teachers are Mr Kristian Crisp and Mrs Kirsty Johnstone. Our full-time Music teacher is Mrs Kim Barnham and we have Ms Traci Fletcher teaching specialist areas including Health, Rock and Water, and our Perceptual Motor Program in the early years. We are lucky to have two Japanese teachers, Mr Gareth Emblen (Prep - Year 2) and Mrs Lizzie Hewitt (Year 3 - 6).
Complimenting these roles are a team of specialist support staff who provide particular support for students and advice for teachers. These include our SWAN Support Teachers, Mrs Kerri Turner, Ms Jade Doyle, Ms Annie Flett, Mrs Jane O’Brien, Mrs Jessica Edwards and our Guidance Officer (GO), Ms Alison Daly. We also have some Advisory visiting teachers who visit regularly to provide professional support. More detail about their roles can be found under Student services and support programs.
Our office staff, teacher aides, cleaners and facility services officer are most capably led and managed by our Business Manager (BM), Mrs Liz Caporale.
