It is an exciting time in the curriculum space at Nundah State School as we transition to Version 9 of the Australian Curriculum. Our teachers are hard at work exploring the changes in English and Mathematics this year to implement in 2024 and 2025.
We will be continuing to map out and adjust our teaching and learning for children in the other learning areas: Science, Humanities and Social Sciences, Health and Physical Education, Design and Technologies, Digital Technologies, Languages (Japanese) and The Arts (Music, Dance, Drama, Media and Visual Arts).
We have specialist teachers providing the curriculum in the following areas as detailed in their following sub-pages:
- The Arts – Music, Dance and Drama (taught by specialist in some year levels).
- Health and Physical Education (Prep to Year 6)
- Languages – Japanese (Prep to Year 6)
Classroom teachers are responsible for the delivery of all other learning areas.
