OneNote is designed
to be a single user app however it is possible to swap between multiple
accounts. There are several options when using one device for multiple users
and it depends on the device you are using.
N.B. You may need to enter your school username and password to access the videos through the links.
For iPads
When using an iPad
with multiple users you will need to enable a setting to swap between accounts.
This video shows you
the full process of changing accounts - 2 Accounts on iPad (video)
The video below this text shows you
a quick version if you need a refresher of the above process.
For Computers
When working on a
computer (Apple or Windows) you have two options:
The first is to sign out of
the app using the process outlined below. The process is relatively simple
in OneNote for Windows 10 (though I have experienced bugs) but a little
more complex on a Mac.
The second option is to use
OneNote Online. This is a reduced version of OneNote available through any
browser and you can sign out of it at the end of a session.
Please note:
OneNote Online is not recommended on iPads or Android devices as it is
difficult to use and edit pages.
