HOW DO I ORDER TUCKSHOP?

Our pre-ordering system, either online or using the paper bags, is important for helping with the smooth running of the Tuckshop. Bag pre-ordering also reduces food wastage at the end of the day. A separate bag is required for each child, and if ordering for each lunch break, a separate bag for each 1st and 2nd break.

Orders can now be placed through our easy-to-use Online Ordering facility.  If online ordering is not possible, brown paper bag orders can be placed as well, either before school directly at Tuckshop (there’s a slot in the bench for bags), or via the red Tuckshop box in each class room.

When ordering on bags, please make sure the child’s name and class are written, as well as their order, and please specify if the order is for first or second break. It is a good idea when ordering on bags to use exact money if possible, as children can be unreliable about checking their Tuckshop bags for change, especially the littlies. We wouldn’t want your money going into the bin by accident!

HOW CAN I HELP?

We have three (3) part time convenors, and running the Tuckshop is much easier (and more fun!) if we have volunteers to help every day. We have some fantastic regular helpers, but we are always looking for help from new volunteers. You don't need to come in all day - the times we need the most help are for fresh food preparation from 8.45 am, and for help serving at break times. If you can help only in the morning, or only in the afternoon, we’d be happy to accommodate you and slot you in whenever it suits you. Our Tuckshop cannot run without our wonderful volunteers. Your children will love to see you in Tuckshop, and our volunteers get a free 50c Zooper Dooper (ice block) for their children (and morning tea and lunch yourself!) every time you are here.

Another way to contribute to Tuckshop if you are not able to volunteer in person is by donating “Homebake” – this means producing cupcakes or sweet muffins at home at times that suit you, then dropping them off any day to Tuckshop (either fresh or frozen) for sale on Fridays. We are always in need of homebake supplies, and the children love them! Please make sure there are no nuts or nut products in any donated homebake. To sign up for providing homebake.

Volunteering at Tuckshop is a great way to meet new people and get involved in the school community. Please feel free to contact us on (07) 3635 5837, or email with any questions, or to volunteer. You can also use the online sign-up system.

We are always very grateful for any help. We look forward to welcoming you at Tuckshop!
